As many as 1,141 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,130 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,141 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Four out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 347,105 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 17 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 11 medical assistants, 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,804 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 245 are in extremely serious condition and 39 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 8,577 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,302 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,098 people have been treated. As many as 325,991 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 45 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,144 people have died of coronavirus in all.
