Moldovan education ministry launched 2021 National Youth Award Competition

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) launched the National Youth Award Competition, 2021 edition, in the context of marking the National Youth Day in the Republic of Moldova on 14 November 2021. The deadline for submitting applications is 26 November.
The national award is offered for outstanding contribution to the development of the youth sector, for the implementation of projects and programs with special impact for young people, as well as for young people with outstanding individual results, says MEC.
The contest has two components: National Youth Award - awarded to citizens of the Republic of Moldova aged 14-35, youth initiative groups, non-commercial and commercial organizations that have carried out, by the date of submission of projects, impactful projects for young people , during the last 12 calendar months. The winners will be awarded the trophy, the diploma confirming the title of Laureate of the national award for youth and a cash prize, according to the categories: general - 15,000 lei; individual - 10,000 lei.
The National Prize for the Youth Sector is awarded to youth specialists from local public authorities (APL) level I and II, youth workers, youth centers, as well as local youth councils. The winners will be awarded the trophy, the diploma confirming the distinction and a cash prize, according to the categories: the youth specialist of the year within the APL level I - 12,000 lei; the youth specialist of the year within the APL of level II - 12,000 lei; youth worker of the year - 12,000 lei; Local Youth Council of the year - 15,000 lei; Youth Center of the Year - 20,000 lei.
