Prosecutors raided home of head of Ciocana office of Chisinau Prosecutor's Office

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- Anti-corruption prosecutors raided this morning the home and office of the head of the Ciocana office of the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, Igor Popa. The information was confirmed by spokesperson of the General Prosecutor's Office Mariana Cherpec.
The searches are under development, and later the Prosecutor's Office will come with a press release on the matter.
Igor Popa previously held the position of Deputy Attorney General and held for a period the interim position of Attorney General.
