As many as 1,483 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 8,432 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,483cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Three out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 348,588 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 29 out of all infection cases are among medical employees.

As many as 2,515 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 213 are in extremely serious condition and 32 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 8,232 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,062 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,378 people have been treated. As many as 327,369 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 49 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,193 people have died of coronavirus in all.
