Moldovan president to participate in Paris Peace Forum on 11-12 November

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu will be in Paris on 11-12 November, where she will participate in the Peace Forum, the presidential press service has reported.
On 11 November, President Maia Sandu will take part in the official ceremony on the opening of the Peace Forum, in the presence of President of France Emmanuel Macron, as well as other heads of state and government.
On 12 November, President Maia Sandu will have a bilateral meeting with President of France Emmanuel Macron. Subsequently, the head of state will participate in a topic-related session at the Peace Forum titled, In charge: Empowering women in public decision making processes. The Moldovan president will also have more bilateral meetings, including with President of Estonia Alar Karis and President of Iceland Guðni Th. Johannesson. On the same day, Maia Sandu will give a speech on the occasion of marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
In France, the head of state will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu and Secretary General of the Presidency Cristina Gherasimov.
