Moldovan parliament nominates new co-head of Interparliamentary Commission for Cooperation between Moldovan Parliament and Russian Federal Assembly

Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Parliament Speaker Vlad Batrancea, the parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BECS), today was nominated as co-head of the Inter-parliamentary Commission for Cooperation between the Parliament of Moldova and Russian Federal Assembly. Batrincea will hold the position which remained vacant after the leaving of Igor Dodon.
Also today, Adrian Lebedinschi from the same faction became member of the concerned commission. Another amendment made by the parliament deals with the nomination of Adrian Lebedinschi as head of the Moldovan parliament’s Delegation to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly (BSEC PA). Adrian Lebedinschi also replaced the former MP Igor Dodon in this office.
Also today, the parliament changed the nominal composition of several standing commissions.
There are 11 standing parliamentary commissions in the parliament of the 11th legislative period. Their nominal composition is established by taking into account the proportional representation of the factions in parliament.
