As many as 1,261 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,877 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,261 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Eight out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 351,940 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 11 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 7 medical assistance and 2 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,380 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 227 are in extremely serious condition and 43 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 7,822 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,860 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,112 people have been treated. As many as 331,024 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 68 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,391 people have died of coronavirus in all. The Health Ministry specifies that some of these cases have been registered earlier and were reported today.
