Ștefan Vodă city of Moldova nominated Youth Capital 2022

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Stefan Voda city has been nominated winner of the national contest, Youth Capital 2022. The winner settlement was established based on a decision of the evaluation commission set up by the Education and Research Ministry (MEC).
A string of youth activities of central and local public authorities, non-commercial organizations, development partners and civil society are to be organized within the programme, Stefan Voda – Youth Capital 2022.
The Education and Research Ministry will provide financial support worth about one million lei and the local authorities will contribute over 400,000 lei for the programme’s carrying out.
„Within the contest, applicant Stefan Voda city proposed about 51 youth activities, among which the organization of Hackathon, Social Entrepreneur – Be Change; contest of grants for backing young people’s entrepreneurship initiatives; national forum, Young People Change Moldova; fair of professions; events TEDx talks, etc. Also, a string of topic-related activities will be organized, aimed at strengthening the young people’s civic spirit; promotion of a sound lifestyle; creating opportunities of spending the free time; cultural, educational and entrepreneurial development,’’ MEC said.
