Ungheni city hall prepared several actions for young people

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/-  Ungheni authorities have organized several actions on National Youth Day, traditionally marked on the second Sunday of November.

The start of the program of activities was given by the running race, which this year reached 23rd edition.

"Dozens of young people from Ungheni, as well as from other localities, participated in the competition. Also, a concert was organized for all the young people, supported by artistic groups from the city ”, Ungheni city hall said.

According to the quoted source, new activities for young people are coming. Thus, the local administration invited young people to participate in the survey on the situation and satisfaction of citizens with the activity and opportunities in the fields: sports, culture and youth, conducted these days by the Ungheni city hall.

The Ministry of Education and Research has developed a consolidated Plan on actions dedicated to the National Youth Day. The plan includes activities and events dedicated to young people, organized by central, local public authorities and youth associations, which aim to encourage civic activism and involvement of young people in decision-making and capitalize on the creative potential of young people.

The National Youth Day is marked in the Republic of Moldova on the second Sunday of November, in accordance with the provisions of a Government Decision of 1996.
