Moldovan authorities monitoring road preparation for cold season 2021-2022

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the leadership of the State Road Administration (ASD) and representatives of the National Inspectorate of Public Safety organized a meeting with management of Roads company on the preparation of national public routes for the cold season 2021-2022.

During the meeting it was found that the level of preparation of companies for the winter season is about 70%, or, the Deputy Prime Minister asked them to make the necessary purchases within a week. "I want responsibility, I want involvement and receptivity. To demonstrate the spirit of housekeeping in everyone's district. I'll keep an eye on Roads company and I will pay them an unexpected visit to see if they kept their word ", Spinu said.

The official called for the creation of a working group of ASD, INSP and Roads company representatives, so as to organize a regular monitoring of the situation on national roads, to ensure safe traffic throughout the cold period of the year.

Road administration and maintenance activities are carried out through 12 road companies, with which ASD concluded business contracts.
