Procedure of correcting errors commited in passing lands into ownership to be simplified in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved amendments to the regulation on the way of correcting the errors committed in the process of passing lands in ownership. The document provides for the shortening of the term for the carrying out of the works of correcting and facilitating the process of rectification of the errors of measuring, designing and other non-conformities, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.    

According to the amendments, the starting of the correcting process will be made based on the decision by the local council only in the case of massive correction of errors. At the same time, the initiation of the works of correcting errors can be carried out also selectively, at a request by an owner.    

The time for consideration of the documentation on errors’ correction will be shortened from 15 to 10 working days. The term when the commission for settling applications on rectification will compile the official reports and will communicate the results to the de jure owners will be shortened to 10 days as well.  

Also, if as a result of a measurement error, non-assigned real estate appeared in the outline subjected to designing, which were subsequently registered according to the administrative and territorial unit, the compensation of the deficit of area could be made at the expense of this real estate.    

The works of correcting the errors committed in the process of passing lands in ownership are carried out by the Public Services Agency and its territorial structures, state/municipal enterprises and the private ones, which have qualified cadastral engineers.
