Moldovan PM has phone conversation with Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, Nov. 26 / MOLDPRES /- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița had a telephone conversation today with Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă, Prime Minister of Romania. Gavrilița congratulated counterpart on his appointment and wished him success in activity and appreciated the help given by the Romanian side to our country for managing the energy crisis and the one related to COVID-19, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The officials discussed the roadmap on priority areas of cooperation Romania - Moldova, signed on 23 November, which refers to the commitments of both parties on important areas, including transport infrastructure, communications and information society, regional and territorial cooperation, official development assistance, energy interconnection, etc.

The Romanian premier voiced willingness to support all the actions included in the Roadmap.

At the same time, Natalia Gavrilița and Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă agreed on the need for a meeting in the next period.
