Lower number of pupils infected with COVID-19 registered in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - The number of infections is decreasing in the education institutions from Chisinau.  

At a today’s online meeting of the Chisinau city hall’s services, the acting head of the education department, Andrei Pavaloi, said that, during 22-28 November, 13 new cases of infection with Covid-19 among teachers and 51 ones among pupils had been recorded in those 150 education institutions from Chisinau.  

At the same time, Pavaloi noted that all municipal education institutions had received the quick tests for detecting the virus. He urged the teachers to be vaccinated, in the context of the appearance of the new mutation of the COVID-19.  

The official stressed that, to improve the menu meant for the kindergarten children, as well as a measure of informing and preventing the Covid-19 infection, the education, youth and sport general department organized trainings for the staff of the institutions’ kitchens.
