Moldova, EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly to boost cooperation relations

Chisinau, Nov. 30 / MOLDPRES /- Visiting Brussels, Speaker Igor Grosu discussed with MEP Andrius Kubilius, President of the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly, the priorities of the current Legislature, in particular the justice reform, strengthening state institutions by eradicating corruption and regional security, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The officials agreed to intensify the cooperation for capitalizing on all the opportunities and potential offered by the provisions of the Association Agreement.

Igor Grosu expressed his gratitude for the effort made in promoting the priorities of the Republic of Moldova within the Eastern Partnership and the conviction that the reforms carried out in the interest of the citizens come to facilitate the European integration course and bring the partner countries closer to the European Union.

Grosu paid a working visit to Brussels on 28-29 November.
