Musicians from Moldova, Romania to meet on stage of Radio Hall from Bucharest

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - Musicians from Moldova and Romania for the first time ever will meet at a symphony concert on the stage of the Bucharest Radio Hall on 1 December at 19:00. The event marks a double anniversary: National Day of Romania, as well as the tenth anniversary of broadcasting of Radio Chisinau, part of the Radio Romania portfolio.    

According to the organizers, the Radio Romania Chamber Orchestra, along with components of Moldova’s National Chamber Orchestra will sing on the stage of the Bucharest Radio Hall.   

The event will be conducted by Gabriel Bebeșelea, one of the best Romanian conductors abroad, applauded in the most prestigious concerts halls of the world, such as Auditorium from Barcelona, Musikverein from Vienna or Tchaikovsky Concert Hall from Moscow. Another special event of the evening is also the presence of the cello player Andrei Ionita, described by the publication The Times as ‘’one of the most captivating cello players who has asserted himself in the last decade’’ and nominated BBC New Generation Artist in 2016.  

The concert will be broadcast live on all frequencies of Radio Romania Cultural and Radio Romania Musical, on TVR 1 and TVR 3. It will also be broadcast in live video streaming on the sites of Radio Romania and the platform www.vstage.ro.
