As many as 659 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,158 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 659 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Two out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 364,433 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 14 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 8 medical assistants, 2 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,184 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 134 are in extremely serious condition and 11 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,972 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 9,440 are under supervision at home.

Another 568 people have been treated. As many as 348,276 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 22 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,141 people have died of coronavirus in all.
