As many as 732 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,141 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 732 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Nine out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 365,165 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), eight out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 2 medical assistants, 2 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,540 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 220 are in extremely serious condition.

In the context, 3,813 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 9,471 are under supervision at home.

Another 669 people have been treated. As many as 348,945 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,162 people have died of coronavirus in all.
