Energy efficiency of Flămânzeni gymnasium almost completed

Chisinau, 6 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- At the Iurie Boghiu Gymnasium in the village of Flămânzeni, Sangerei district, the external works to increase energy efficiency have been completed, carried out within a project financed by the European Union.

Specialists from the North Regional Development Agency (RDA) within the Integrated Project Management Section checked at the end of last week the progress of the renovation works inside the gymnasium, as well as the equipment installed in the gymnasium canteen. ADR Nord experts found that the works are in the final stages.

“The monitoring visit was also attended by representatives of the local authorities, the management of the educational institution, the project manager and representatives of the economic operator responsible for carrying out the renovation works. On the site, some aspects were discussed regarding the organization of the reception at the full completion of the works, an event that will take place in the near future ", indicates ADR Nord.

As a result of energy efficiency measures, 330 students and teachers benefit from improved educational conditions and a comfortable study environment.

The total cost of the construction works within this project is 17.44 million lei, of which 17.22 million lei is the financing of the European Union, through ADR Nord, and 217,890 lei - co-financed by the Sangerei District Council. Work began in October 2020.

The investment measure Increasing the energy efficiency of Iurie Boghiu Gymnasium in Flămânzeni is funded by the European Union and implemented by ADR Nord and the project Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova (MSPL). It is funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with the relevant ministry in our country.
