Moldovan cabinet appoints new secretary generals at Agriculture, Interior, Labour, Infrastructure Ministries

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the appointment to the office of secretary general in more ministries, as follows:  

Lilia Dabija, - to the office of secretary general of the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry. Lilia Dabija is master in civil law and has a rich experience in the working out documents of public policies. She worked as expert at more international organizations, among which the World Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development, International Finance Corporation, United Nations Development Programme, German Agency for International Cooperation, etc. 

Anatolie Fala, to the office of secretary general of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry. He is PhD in biological sciences and expert in agriculture, agro-business and agro-economy, with experience of work in higher education institutions, research institutions and rural extension services. During 18 years, he held the position of director of programmes and national coordinator at the National Rural Development Agency.       

Serghei Diaconu, to the office of secretary general at the Interior Ministry (MAI). He has held the position of state secretary at MAI so far.   

Tudor Mancas, to the office of secretary general at the Labour and Social Protection Ministry. Mancas is master in political sciences. He has lately worked in the Apparatus of Moldova’s President, in charge of the domestic policy on the social and migration dimension. During 11 years, he worked as consultant at the State Chancellery.      

These candidates were the ones who picked up the largest number of points and won the public contests for the aforementioned positions, organized by the State Chancellery during 19 October – 3 December 2021. 

At the same time, the cabinet today also approved the appointment of Svetlana Basarab as deputy head of the Causeni Territorial Office of the State Chancellery. Adrian Musteata was appointed to the same office in Balti.
