Moldovan cabinet approves calendar plan for preparing civilian protection for 2022

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The process of preparation of the civilian protection for 2022 will be carried out based on a new calendar plan, approved by the cabinet today. The document establishes the measures of preparation for an eventual danger of starting of emergency situations, the institutions involved in the process and the terms of carrying out the activities, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.    

Under the plan, to enhance the level of preparing for actions in emergency situations, practical exercises will be organized on the liquidation of the consequences of natural calamities.   

At the same time, the document regulates the controls in the field of training in civilian protection, in order to assess the level of preparation of the administrative and territorial units for actions in case of danger or starting of emergency situations.   

Also, the draft sees informing the residents about the rules of behavior and the principal ways of protection in emergency situations. Citizens will have possibility to learn ways of providing the first medical aid, rules of the use of individual and collective protection means.   

Also today, the cabinet approved the plan on filling with unattached students of the republican training centre for 2022, through which decision-makers establish the categories and terms for training at civilian protection of the people in charge of the organization of the civilian protection measures in the administrative and territorial units.
