Chisinau, 15 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Four companies on the left bank of the Dniester can more easily promote their fruits thanks to virtual tours.

The tours were developed at the initiative of Moldova Fruct and Dnestovskii Fruct Associations, with financial assistance from Sweden and the United Kingdom, as part of the Development of Export Capacities on the Dniester (AdTrade) project implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Panoramic images are accompanied by video material, which shows the entire horticultural infrastructure of each company, from production to harvesting, sorting and packaging. Foreign buyers, as well as any interested consumer, can virtually view the super-intensive orchards of local producers, modern cold storage, sorting and packaging halls available to the four farmers on the left bank of the Dniester.

"Buyers interested in Moldovan fruits will be able to pay a visit to the producers' orchard with just one click, see the infrastructure of the plantation, know the range of fruits it produces, the varieties and post-harvest facilities within the household" , says UNDP.

"It's a unique experience for us. I followed the example of colleagues on the right bank who managed to make tours during the pandemic. Through these promotional tools we can show that fruit growers have also developed on the left bank of the Dniester. The films are very colorful and attractive, we hope through them to convince as many buyers as possible to test and buy our fruits ", said the fruit producer Andrei Chizil.

Virtual tours can be found on the websites of Moldova Fruct Association: https://moldovafruct.md/map/ and Dnestrovskii Fruct: https://dnfruit.md/vr-tour/.
