12 people detained following CNA searches admitted guilt

Chisinau, Dec. 22 / MOLDPRES /- Anti-corruption prosecutors have announced that they will request arrest warrants today on behalf of two defendants in the corruption case when issuing cadastral documents. At the same time, 12 of the 14 detained after the searches have pleaded guilty and are cooperating with investigators.

According to the CNA, the 12 are being investigated at large and have the obligation to appear at the request of the criminal investigation body.

During September-October this year, CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors documented several employees of the cadastral offices of the Public Services Agency, real estate and mortgage brokers, individuals and legal entities, who, in complicity with a former real estate agent, facilitated the procedure for obtaining documents. cadastral.

In fact, CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors investigated several hundred episodes in which the scheme organizer facilitated the issuance of permissive documents for buying and selling real estate, evading the legal pre-scheduling procedure and claiming from its clients illicit sums of money to corrupt ASP employees.

Among the applicants for documents were individuals, legal entities and cadastral agents who requested the issuance of documents without ensuring the necessary physical presence of the owners and without an official power of attorney for their collection. In order to obtain the documents, they turned to the organizer of the scheme and offered him money for services.
