Moldovan MPs to convene at plenary meetings on 23, 24 December

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold plenary meetings on 23 and 24 December. The parliament’s standing bureau approved the agenda of the meetings today.   

At the two meetings, the MPs will consider, in the second reading, more drafts on amendment of legislative acts, namely: of the criminal procedure code and the Law on the international legal assistance in criminal matters; Law on the way of publication and entrance into force of official acts; Law on road traffic safety and Contravention Code; Law on the public system of social insurances; Law on the green areas of urban and rural settlements; Law on insurances; Law on the environmental protection and the Law on waste.      

The lawmakers are to vote the draft law on public services in the second reading too.

The parliament will discuss, in the first reading, the drafts on amendment of the Law on the protection of monuments, Law on the oil products market, Law on measures of backing travellers and economic agents from the tourism industry for attenuating the negative effects triggered by the epidemiological situation (COVID-19), as well as the Parliament Decision on the approval of the model of identity card of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Decision on the approval of the National Integrity and Anticorruption Strategy for 2017-2020.
