Activity of national commission for consultations, collective negotiations relaunched in updated composition

Chisinau, Dec. 23 / MOLDPRES /- The National Commission for Consultations and Collective Negotiations (CNCNC) met at an updated meeting, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The Commission's agenda included several priority topics, including: presenting the conclusions of socio-economic and labor studies, debating the draft CNCNC Business Plan for the first half of next year, establishing CNCNC's specialized councils, resuming the work of commissions for consultations and collective bargaining at the branch level, examination of proposals on the guaranteed minimum wage in the real sector and the minimum wage in the economy.

"I am glad that we managed to organize this meeting at the end of the year, in order to review our common achievements and challenges for next year. It has been a difficult year in which we have tried to implement more proactive measures to support the labor market during the pandemic. As a result, employers can now apply online for three support measures: a subsidy for days off for vaccination, a subsidy for technical unemployment and a subsidy for days off for parents staying at home with children, if they study online and are in the process of implementing the scheme. subsidy for the reduced activity regime. A priority for the next period is the resumption of social dialogue, including at the branch level. We also aim for the tripartite dialogue to be organized regularly, in order to take decisions consulted with the dialogue partners ", Minister of Labor and Social Protection Marcel Spatari said.

Representatives of trade unions and employers welcomed the resumption of social dialogue on the platform of the CNCNC and called for constructive consultations between the social partners, which will help to effectively address the issues identified.

During the meeting, the CNCNC Business Plan for the first semester of 2022 was discussed. At the same time, the proposals to increase the amount of the guaranteed minimum wage in the real sector, which in 2021 is 2935 lei, were discussed. The parties have reached an agreement to increase this amount to 3500 lei, starting with February next year, and will resume dialogue to increase the amount again in May. They agreed with the studies presented that the minimum wage should be around 4,000 lei. The necessary legislative changes are to be made in the first months of next year.

The decision to resume the social dialogue on the platform of the National Commission for Collective Bargaining and Consultation (CNCNC) was taken by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Natalia Gavrilița, during the tripartite meeting of October 8, 2021, and in November, the Government decision was updated. on the composition of the governmental part within the CNCNC. Given the importance of social dialogue in the field of labor relations, the President of the Commission was appointed Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Marcel Spatari.

The CNCNC and the commissions set up at branch / territorial level are autonomous tripartite structures of public interest of the social partnership, which meet for the purpose of consultation and submission of proposals on labor and socio-economic issues of national interest, branch and territorial, promoting social partnership at all levels, ensuring the participation of civil society in promoting national policies.
