Moldovan MP Ilan Shor stripped off parliamentary immunity

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today considered and approved nine applications submitted by the acting prosecutor general, Dumitru Robu, on the agreement for the lifting of the immunity of lawmaker Ilan Shor, for his arrest, search and sending to criminal court.
Under Moldova’s Constitution, an MP cannot be detained, arrested or searched, except for cases of flagrant offence, or sent to court without the parliament’s agreement.
