Moldovan parliament speaker says 2022 to be year of projects in all villages of Moldova, no matter political colour

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ - I am sure that 2022 will be a year of projects in all our villages, no matter the political colour. A year when the justice reform should be on the forefront, the wandering should be brought home and the money stolen should be returned. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu today made statements to this effect at the end of the autumn session of the parliament of the 11th legislative period.   

According to the speaker, 2021 was a good year, a year which we leave more hardened, with lessons learned. This was a year when we wondered: ‘’Where does Moldova go?’’ The citizens eventually won.  

“We have got out of the pandemic hardened, as more empathy, more respect eventually appeared in the society. Here, I would like to offer sincere thanks to those from the first line. We also received a lesson from abroad, on behalf of the Diaspora; their behavior during the campaign shows a truth – when one is far away from home, he/she values the longing for home more. Another good lesion – we saw that we have a lot of friends, countries which we know that they exist; yet, when it was most difficult for us, they took from them and helped us to fight with the pandemic. They were also the ones who helped us with the energy crisis as well,’’ Grosu said.

„Now, I look to the 2022 year and I want and I am sure that 2022 will be a year of projects in all our villages, no matter the political colour. They are all our citizens. The 2022 year should be a year when the justice reform should be on the forefront, the wandering should be brought home and the money stolen should be returned. Yes, things are moving still slowly, yet, they already move,’’ the parliament speaker said in the end of his speech.
