Moldovan art critic edits monograph about book graphics

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - A monograph titled, Naraţiune şi simbol în grafica de carte moldovenească, 1945-2010, (Narrative and symbol in the Moldovan book graphics 1945-2010), by art critic, PhD in arts’ studies Victoria Rocaciuc has recently appeared at a publishing house from Chisinau.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Victoria Rocaciuc said the volume comprised 280 pages, included over 500 pictures, of which 100 coloured ones and appeared in a number of 200 copies. The monograph was made at the Arts’ Study Centre of the Cultural Heritage Institute of the Education and Research Ministry.
Victoria Rocaciuc was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, on 19 June 1978. She finished the A. Sciusev Fine Arts School from Chisinau in 1992, the A. Plamadeala Republican Fine Arts College in 1997, the Music Theatre and Fine Arts Academy from Moldova in 2002 and the Design School of the Moldovan Technical University in 2010. In 2007, Victoria Rocaciuc maintained the thesis of PhD in arts’ study and in 2014 she became lecturer researcher.
