Moldovan Football Federation awards prizes to best women footballers

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) has awarded prizes to the laureates of women’s football for 2021 at the Football House from Chisinau.

The prizes were handed by the head of the Women’s Football League from Moldova, Diana Bulgaru, and the secretary general of the League, Ruslan Plopa.

For the third year in a row, Natalia Munteanu was nominated the best woman football player of Moldova. The other laureates are from the internal championship. Moldova’s champion in women’s football, Agarista Anenii Noi, has four laureates, the Maksimum Cahul team – two laureates and Legia Tiraspol – one.

Sportswoman Natalia Munteanu, who plays for the Dinamo Minsk team from Belarus, said that she had not expected to be nominated the best woman football player and that she was delighted to win this prize for the third year consecutively.
