New batch of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine arrived in Chisinau

Chisinau, Dec. 29 / MOLDPRES /- The National Public Health Agency (ANSP) has received another 125,190 doses of Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, the latest installment of the 700,830 doses purchased by the Ministry of Health through the Office of External Assistance Programs.
According to ANSP, the doses are to be distributed to all vaccination points in the country.
In total, the Republic of Moldova received 1,211,900 doses of Pfizer vaccine. Through the COVAX platform, 125,190 doses were received, donation from Romania - 100,620 doses, acquisitions - 700,830 doses. As of December 28, 978,292 people in Moldova have completed the full vaccination schedule.
