Moldovan parliament of 11th legislative period holds 25 plenary meetings

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs have convened at 25 plenary meetings since the moment foundation of the parliament of the 11th legislative period.  

The foundation meeting of the parliament of the 11th legislative period was held at the spring session, on 26 and 29 July 2021. Four meetings within two extraordinary sessions came next, held in last August.

The autumn session started on 1 September and ended on 24 December this year.

The parliament of the 11th legislative period was elected on 11 July and on 23 July the Constitutional Court adopted the decision on the confirmation of the results of the snap parliamentary elections and validation of the mandates of the lawmakers elected.

In the current parliament, the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party has 63 mandates; the parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists – 32 mandates and the parliamentary faction of the Shor Party – six mandates.
