Term of submitting files for office of member of Moldova's Superior Council of Prosecutors expires in end of this week

Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - The next Friday is the last day when candidates for the office of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) can submit files. The deadline expires on 14 January at 17:00.
According to the regulation on the holding of the contest, the candidate for the office of CSP member must hold Moldova’s citizenship and have an experience of at least three years in the law sector, as well as a well-known activity in the field of jurisprudence.
The file on participation should contain the following acts: curriculum vitae; letter of motivation edited in the state language (Romanian), which will include also the platform on the principal goals pursued by the candidate, if he/she is elected member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors; proof of Moldova’s citizenship; copy of the education diploma/degree; acts which confirm the experience in the law sector of at least three years; reference from two persons; criminal record; a declaration on one’s own responsibility reading that the person has no interdiction to hold a public office, which will be subsequently confirmed by the certificate of integrity; agreement for the processing of personal data and declaration of assets and personal interests, signed by holograph.
The contest for the selection of the candidate for the office of CSP member on behalf of the parliament will be held in two stages: the submission and admissibility of the file and the interview. The candidate getting the largest number of points will be presented to parliament for the appointment to the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
