Two other people detained in cases on Durlești lands

Chisinau, January 12 / MOLDPRES /- A former Democrat MP and party leader have been detained this morning by CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors in cases involving dubious deals with Durlești City Hall land.

According to CNA, the two are suspected of acting in the interests of an organized group and participating in fictitious transactions, as a result of which dozens of lands came into the possession of family members, relatives and relatives of the former mayor of Durlești (Chisinau). and those who would have participated in this scheme would have received financial remuneration.

Today, searches were carried out at four addresses within the municipality.

Recently, in the same case, eight people from the former mayor's family's entourage were subjected to house searches. Currently, the persons concerned are being investigated in a state of freedom, and the prosecutors will determine their procedural status, based on the accumulated evidence.

At the end of last year, several former officials from Durlești City Hall, including the ex-mayor's daughter, were criminally investigated by CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors for abuse of office.
