Moldovan speaker conveys congratulatory message to diplomats

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu conveyed a congratulatory message to diplomats on their Professional Day, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The message reads:

"Dear diplomats,

Thirty years ago, on 17 January 1992, the Republic of Moldova undertook one of its first diplomatic actions - applied for UN membership. On the occasion of the professional day, I congratulate the diplomatic service employees and wish them courage, dedication and perseverance in promoting the interests of our country in the world ", he said.

Igor Grosu noted that the country's openness to the outside world needs an efficient and skillful foreign policy.

"I am firmly convinced that active diplomacy is a key ingredient for the assertion of Moldova in the international arena, bringing benefits to our citizens," he concluded.
