Moldovan foreign affairs minister receives new ambassador of China

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with accepted Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova Yan Wenbin, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

Deputy PM Nicu Popescu wished Ambassador Yan Wenbin success in his diplomatic activity started in Chisinau.

„I spoke with Mr. ambassador about the need to turn to good account the opportunities of boosting and developing the bilateral commercial exchanges, encouraging the dialogue at the level of the business environments, as well as the active participation in economic missions,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head said.

The officials exchanged opinions on the evolution of the bilateral relations and ways of advancing the Moldovan-Chinese dialogue, including in the context of marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations in 2022.
