Pupils to learn in online regime in Moldova in next two weeks

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - The pupils will switch to the online regime of education in the next two weeks. Distance work will be carried out, as priority, in all spheres. Health Minister Ala Nemerenco today made statements to this effect before a meeting of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP).

According to the quoted source, the red code of COVID-19 is valid all over Moldova and all private events will be ceased.

„We are in red code nationally today. The switch of schools to the online education is proposed initially for two weeks. Also, the number of people who can enter simultaneously in commercial centres is reduced from 3 to 2. The private events of any kind will be ceased. Also, the presentation of COVID certificates will be compulsory, in order to enter any commercial or service space,’’ the minister said.

Nemerenco noted that this wave of Covid-19 had seriously hit the neighbor countries and urged the citizens to be prudent and get vaccinated.
