Three municipal hospitals to undergo energy rehabilitation in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will make the energy rehabilitation of three hospitals; about 145 million lei will be spent for these works.

The city hall informed that those three hospitals would undergo energy rehabilitation within the project, Energy Efficiency and thermal insulation of public institutions from Chisinau municipality, initiated by the city hall. It is about the Valentin Ignatenco Clinical Municipal Hospital, Holy Trinity Clinical Municipal Hospital and the Clinical Municipal Hospital No 1.

The works will be carried out by a company from Azerbaijan, which won an international tender organized by the local administration.

The intervention works will be carried out during 18 months and consist of measures of exterior insulation of buildings, replacing the woodwork; setting ventilation systems and recovery of heating; replacing the thermal systems; setting the network of indoors illumination based on LEDs; systems of smart metering, reestablishment of engineering networks.

The rehabilitation of the three hospitals represents the last set of energy efficiency works, carried out within the project, Energy Efficiency and thermal insulation of public institutions from Chisinau municipality. Following the implementation of this project, 23 social institutions will undergo their energy rehabilitation.
