Lithuanian speaker to visit Moldova

Chisinau, January 22 / MOLDPRES /- Speaker of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen will pay a visit to Moldova on January 24-25, at the invitation of speaker Igor Grosu.

According to the General Directorate of Communication and Public Relations of the Legislature, the delegation of the Seimas of Lithuania will also include Deputy Speaker Andrius Mazuronis, Chairman of the Group for Interparliamentary Relations with the Republic of Moldova Kazys Starkevičius and other officials.

In the Parliament, the Lithuanian speaker will have meetings with Grosu, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration Doina Gherman, as well as members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania.

During the visit to Chisinau,Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen will have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.

MPs will meet with representatives of the Lithuanian diaspora in Moldova.
