Thirty eight thousand pupils from Chisinau to receive weekly food packets

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - The pupils from Chisinau who benefited from free of charge food at the municipal education institutions will receive weekly food packets.     

The Chisinau city hall informed that, on the period of the online education from 24 January – 4 February 2022, the education, youth and sport general department would provide the nourishment of pupils with delivery in packets. According to the city hall, those 38,000 pupils benefiting from food for free will receive a food packet, due to comprise: pastry and confectioner’s products (with no content of hydrogenized fats), crackers and biscuits (without hydrogenized fats and food additives), juice in tetra pack packages.      

The distribution of food products for pupils will be organized on one of the days of the week, through taking the parcel by parents, according to a schedule established. The value of the packet with products is equivalent to the one of the consumption of a child at the school’s canteen for five days, depending on the menu set.    

If the parent cannot come to the school on the day established, to receive the packet, it can be taken on another day, through preliminary coordination.
