Chisinau, Feb. 23 / MOLDPRES /- Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţa said that the government is constantly monitoring the situation in Ukraine, especially that of the citizens of our country who are on the territory of the neighboring state. The statement was made today after the cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister urged all citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who for various reasons are in Ukraine, to follow the information and recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and if necessary to address the diplomatic mission of our country in Kiev or any institution consular post on the territory of the Ukrainian state.

"Under the conditions created, there are several risks for the Republic of Moldova, both economically and socially-humanitarian, including migration flows, but the government has prepared solutions in case of need," said the official.

At the same time, Gavriliţa asked the public not to make hypothetical scenarios in the context of the situation in Ukraine.
