Tiraspol’s representatives opposed this. An oral decision was taken to discuss this issue at the Joint Military Command and the results should be presented to the Commission in a week.

Among the organizational subjects tackled, the sides highlighted the confirmation of Alexandr Andreev as co-head of the Joint Control Commission on behalf of Russia.

The commission approved the report of the Joint Military Command on the situation in the Security Zone for the period 16-22 February 2022.

In the context of the latest events in the region, the sides found out the non-involvement of their military contingents from the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in non-coordinated measures, as the situation in the Security Zone is under permanent monitoring.
