Over 4,000 Ukrainian citizens enter in Moldova on 24 February

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - About 7,948 people who crossed the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and 4,000 of them were Ukrainian citizens. A number of 108 Ukrainians asked for asylum.
According to data by the Interior Ministry, the most demanded border crossing points are Palanca, Tudora, Sculeni and Leuseni.
As many as 172 employees work at the Palanca Provisional Centre with 31 technical units of the Interior Ministry and 2 technical units from the local public authorities.
The first foreign citizens asking for assistance were registered at 17:40.
