Moldovan parliament's employees to donate one-day salary to back refugees

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan parliament’s employees will donate the salary of one day of labour to support the refugees from Ukraine.

The means will be transferred to the special account opened at the Finance Ministry of Moldova and will be meant for providing humanitarian assistance to citizens of Ukraine hit by the war.

Concomitantly, more parliament’s employees mobilized, as volunteers, in order to provide needed assistance to the refugees at the entrance in Moldova and accommodation.

The parliament also organized the collection of strictly needed things for the people who fled the neighbour country.

The collection of goods was ceased today and the consignment of blankets, hygienic goods, including diapers for children, food products with long validity term, water, books and toys, went to the emergency centre of sorting and placement of refugees, placed at Moldexpo.
