Green line of Single Crisis Management Centre becomes functional in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The hotline of the Single Crisis Management Centre – 080080011, became operational starting from today. At this number, all citizens will be able to call to learn details about how can they help in the situation emerged. The government's’ secretary general, Dumitru Udrea, who is also the head of this centre, made statements to this effect at a news conference today.  

According to Udrea, four points of collecting assistance for the refugees from Ukraine are functional.

The official asked the residents to avoid the cram in these locations. ‘’Some of the donations will be carried to the central warehouse, in order to be distributed to people in need,’’ Udrea noted.  

According to Dumitru Udrea, presently, 67 placement centres work in Moldova, where 2,439 people are accommodated.

Attending the news conference, Economics Minister Sergiu Gaibu announced several decisions of the Commission for Emergency Situations, which held a meeting today.

According to the ministry, they refer to the facilitated procedures of employment of the Ukrainian refugees who want to do this. ‘’The employments will be made in a simplified way, based in an individual labour contract. It is important that the economic agent notifies the Migration and Asylum Bureau about these employments in five days,’’ Gaibu said.    

Another provision regards the exceptions from the banking system, which will allow Ukrainian refugees to open accounts and cards at the banks from Moldova.
