As many as 570 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,477 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 570 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 502,956 COVID cases have been recorded so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 43 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (14 physicians, 23 medical assistants, 6 auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,027 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 105 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 7,613 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 10,640 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,351 people have been treated. As many as 478,895 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,242 people have died of coronavirus in all.
