Contracts for 15 new infrastructure projects in central Moldova to be signed in Ialoveni

Chisinau, March 2 / MOLDPRES /- On March 1-4, in Ialoveni, the city of residence of the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center, events are organized for signing financing contracts with beneficiaries and their partners, for new infrastructure projects to be initiated immediately next, in several localities in the center of the Republic of Moldova.

The process of signing the financing contracts started yesterday, and in the coming days similar events will be organized for all 15 new projects, included in the annual financing plan from the financial means of the National Fund for Regional Development for 2022, whose beneficiaries have presented the necessary updated documentation.

The new infrastructure projects will be financially supported from the National Regional Development Fund, according to the Single Program Document (DUP) for 2022-2024.

The total cost of the 17 regional development projects (15 new and 2 temporary projects), included in the DUP for the years 2022-2024, for the Center Development Region is 958,832,209.60 lei.

The list of projects includes the Consolidation, conservation and development of the tourist infrastructure within the Orheiul Vechi Cultural-Natural Reserve; Development of tourist attractiveness in the communities on the "Cosnita Plateau" and the city of Criuleni; Anenii Noi - National Hub of sports tourism; Valorization of the tourist potential of the central region of the Republic. Moldova; Creation of a recreational area to increase the quality of life of Ialoveni ; Construction of the main aqueduct Sărata Răzeși (Leova district) -Voinescu-Mingir (Hâncești district) etc.
