Batch of humanitarian aid provided by UN for refugees reached Chisinau

Chisinau, March 2 / MOLDPRES /- A batch of humanitarian aid provided by the UN for refugees arrived in Chisinau today. It contains several thousand blankets worth 52 thousand euros.

The event was attended by MAI Secretary of State Jana Costache and UN Regional Representative Roland Sebastian Schilling.

The MAI official thanked for the help and specified that today today 2,000 blankets from the aid group arrived in Chisinau will reach Palanca at the Provisional Assistance Center.

The UN official mentioned that the Republic of Moldova offers help to refugees even if life here is not the easiest. He said international structures would provide financial support for both refugees and Moldovan citizens, as well as Chisinau authorities.
