Increased flow of passengers recorded at several state border crossing points

Chisinau, March 3 / MOLDPRES /- Border Police announced today the presence of an increased flow at the Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, Basarabeasca-Serpniovo and Giurgiulesti-Galati border crossings.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the last 12 hours, the border police registered 26,415 crossings, of which a number of 15,062 on the way to enter the country. Most crossings were of foreign nationals - 22,076.

The most requested border was with Romania - 14,314 of the total crossings, and 12,101 crossings were reported at the crossing points located at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

With regard to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 13,345 crossings were recorded, of which 8,793 on the way into the Republic of Moldova and another 5,552 crossings on leaving the country. At the same time, the number of 5,139 were the transfers of Ukrainian minors up to and including 14 years of age.
