Balti-based sunflower company assures not to increase price of oil in next period

Chisinau, March 3 / MOLDPRES /- Floarea-Soarelui (Sunflower) company from Bălți has given assurances that temporarily it will not increase the price of vegetable oil.

Company director-general Stela Ostrovetschi made the statement yesterday at a joint working meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry with producers and exporters of cereals.

The manager of the company from Bălţi mentioned that this decision was taken taking into account the complicated situation in the region and the need to show solidarity. "Thus, in the next 60 days, as long as the state of emergency in our country lasts, the price of vegetable oil will not increase," said Stela Ostrovetschi.

The company initiative can be taken over by other economic agents in the country, urged the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture.
