Chisinau, 3 March /MOLDPRES/ - A warehouse, where donations and humanitarian assistance for refugees from Ukraine will be stocked, will be opened at the Moldcoopimpex cooperative trade enterprise of Moldcoop. The humanitarian assistance will be managed by the Labour and Social Protection Ministry. The members of the Commission for Emergency (CSE) approved a decision to this effect today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Another CSE decision regards the Medicine and Medical Devises Agency (AMDM), which will constantly monitor the stocks of medicines, consumables and medical devices available in Moldova. A topic-related report will be weekly sent to CSE and the Single Crisis Management Centre. Also, AMDM will weekly send a detailed report on the humanitarian assistance of medicines, consumables and authorized devices authorized by it.

At the same time, the Commission established a string of special conditions for providing humanitarian assistance of medicines, consumables and medical devises to the beneficiaries of humanitarian assistance who are in Ukraine. The CSE members ruled that the donors can be legal entities registered in Moldova and the carrying of the humanitarian assistance of medicines, consumables and medical devices out of the country will be made with the written permission of the Medicine and Medical Devises Agency.

Given the need of managing a large flow of refugees from Ukraine, the CSE members ruled to complete the number of employees with special status at the Migration and Asylum Bureau and the Interior Ministry.
