Cases leading to destabilization of public order under scrutiny of law enforcement

Chisinau, March 4 / MOLDPRES /- The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) jointly with SIS and SPIA officers investigate the actions of individuals who are proliferating public information biased and fabricated in the context of the war in Ukraine.

According to the PCCOCS data, the facts under investigation aim at disseminating this information in a systematic way, through various means - internet, TV, radio, print media. "The investigation established that these actions are aimed at creating a war-friendly emotional climate among the Moldovan population, including in order to generate social dissension. Therefore, the facts are investigated in the light of the crimes provided by articles 140 and 346 of the Criminal Code ", PCCOCS communiqué reads.

At the same time, prosecutors are urging citizens to refrain from propaganda.
